• Google Drive Integration: Making sure Google Drive works efficiently for content management.

Solution

To achieve those goals and tackle the challenges, we did the following:

• Website Delivery within 4 Weeks: The project was executed and delivered within an ambitious timeline of just four weeks, demonstrating our ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Utilise, Enhance, and Optimise Google Drive as a CMS: We leveraged Google Drive as the document-based authoring system, optimising it to serve effectively as a CMS. This included enhancing its functionalities for seamless content management, collaboration, and version control.
• Integrate Adobe Launch and CookieBot: Adobe Launch was integrated to efficiently manage tags and streamline data collection across the website. Additionally, CookieBot was implemented to handle cookie consent, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and enhancing user trust.
• Enrich Page Metadata: The website's page metadata was enriched to improve search engine optimization (SEO) and ensure content is easily discoverable. This involved adding structured data, including Schema.org capabilities, optimising meta tags, and aligning content with best SEO practices. These enhancements help search engines better understand and index the website’s content, improving visibility and search rankings.
• Using Google Lighthouse for Performance Tests: We conducted thorough performance tests using Google Lighthouse, evaluating the website across four key areas: Performance, Accessibility, SEO, and Best Practices. This ensured that the site not only delivered high performance but also met industry standards for usability and accessibility.
• Create Several Custom Components: Custom components were developed to integrate various APIs and deliver dynamic content, ensuring a personalised and interactive user experience. These components facilitated real-time data exchange and enhanced the website's overall functionality.
• Usability and Scalability: The website was built with a strong focus on usability and scalability. The user interface was designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, while the underlying infrastructure was built to support future growth and additional features.
• Code Management and Hosting: The website’s code is stored in GitHub, facilitating easy maintenance, version control, and scalability. This setup ensures that updates and new features can be efficiently managed and deployed. The website is hosted via a Content Delivery Network (CDN) provided by Fastly, which significantly boosts and speeds up content delivery. This ensures that users experience fast load times and reliable performance, even during peak traffic periods.
