Accessible Brochures. Personalized at Scale.

A leading European insurer streamlined brochure creation with an Adobe Experience Manager: Forms solution—enabling local agency personalization while enforcing brand control.

The Challenge

Replace a fragmented, manual process with a centralized platform for marketing brochure creation, customization, and compliant PDF output.

The Scenario

A top-tier European insurance provider needed to modernize its internal brochure production workflow. Previously, brochures were created manually using PowerPoint templates, shared via email, and adapted ad hoc by local agencies—resulting in inconsistent branding, poor accessibility, and operational inefficiency. The marketing team required a centralized platform to manage all brochure content, enforce brand guidelines, and ensure output quality. At the same time, regional agencies needed the ability to customize materials—adding contact details, tailoring language, and adapting visuals to their local markets. The solution had to balance speed, control, and flexibility—all while ensuring accessibility compliance.

The Solution

One Platform. Controlled Flexibility.

Comwrap Reply delivered a custom web application built on Adobe Experience Manager: Forms, Angular, and Spring Boot—designed to streamline the creation and distribution of marketing brochures.

The platform enables the marketing team to define templates and generate accessible PDFs via intuitive web forms. Local agencies can log in, select available materials, and personalize key fields—such as contact details, copy blocks, and images—within pre-defined limits.

This ensures that brand integrity is preserved while still empowering local adaptation. The system includes an archive where both the official and customized brochures can be stored and downloaded. All outputs are accessibility-compliant by default, aligning with regulatory and inclusion standards.

How we did it

The application was architected around AEM Forms, enabling structured content input and dynamic PDF generation. Angular provided the frontend logic for responsive, user-friendly form experiences, while Spring Boot and Postgres managed data flows and user roles across marketing and agency users.

We created a modular permissions model that allows marketing to control exactly which brochure components can be edited by local agencies—down to individual text blocks and image slots. The system automates brand formatting and accessibility tagging, removing manual steps and reducing compliance risk. This balance of automation and structured flexibility radically reduced the time and effort required to produce brochures while elevating output quality across the board.

The Results

In just six months, the insurer transitioned from a fragmented, email-based workflow to a centralized, brand-compliant, accessibility-ready solution. Brochure production time has been cut by 75%, and marketing now retains full control over visual and editorial integrity.

Local agencies benefit from greater autonomy and agility in adapting core materials for their markets—without compromising compliance. The result: a faster, smarter way to scale communication materials across a distributed sales network.
